Apna Purvanchal Mahasangh Holds National Executive Meeting 2026 Deliberations On Unity, Development And New National Action Plan
Mumbai: Apna Purvanchal Mahasangh, a prominent organization representing the voice and identity of people from Purvanchal across the country, successfully held its National Executive Committee Meeting for the year 2026 on January 4, 2026, at the prestigious The Presidency Radio Club, Arthur Bunder Road, Colaba, Mumbai. The meeting was conducted in a dignified and disciplined atmosphere.
The meeting was chaired by National President, Senior Advocate Ashok Kumar Dubey, while General Secretary Dr. Ravi Rameshchandra efficiently conducted the proceedings and provided direction to the discussions.
The primary objective of the meeting was to deliberate on the National Action Plan for 2026, organizational expansion, youth participation, education, social justice, cultural preservation, and the overall socio-economic development of the Purvanchal community. National office bearers and representatives from Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, and other states shared valuable suggestions to further strengthen and streamline the organization.
Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar’s Esteemed Presence
The highlight of the meeting was the gracious presence of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar. On this occasion, he formally unveiled the Mahasangh’s official diary, pen, and traditional Purvanchali gamcha.
National President Ashok Kumar Dubey honored Mr. Narwekar by presenting him with a Purvanchali gamcha and a bouquet. Addressing the gathering, Mr. Narwekar stated that the Purvanchal community has made significant contributions to India’s social and economic development. He emphasized that the distance between Mumbai and Purvanchal has now diminished, as people are connected through various means. Concluding his address, he raised the slogan “Jai Purvanchal, Jai Maharashtra.”
Felicitation of Distinguished Guests
During the program, IRS Officer Pankaj Kumar Dwivedi was felicitated with a memento in recognition of his outstanding administrative and social contributions.
Meeting Conducted in Two Sessions
The meeting was organized in two sessions:
First Session: Organizational review, membership drive, assessment of past activities, and discussions on upcoming social initiatives, education, and employment-related proposals.
Second Session: Unveiling of memorial publications and announcements of organizational appointments.
At the conclusion of the meeting, in the presence of the National President, General Secretary Dr. Ravi Rameshchandra formally announced the appointment of Ravi Bhagwatprasad Gupta as Mumbai State President, and presented him with the appointment letter. The announcement was warmly welcomed with applause by all members present.
